It’s the holiday season, which means it’s time to dress to impress. With family and friends coming over to join in the big Thanksgiving feast, it’s important to wear an outfit that will get your guests talking. Keep in mind you will be eating, so wear an outfit that that will accommodate your eating habits.
As a thick slice of turkey and a mountain of stuffing piling on your plate, you are bound to get bloated. Don’t worry, it’s not just you. We all go back for seconds. Don’t just say “oh well,” and throw on a pair of baggy sweat pants.
Whenever we have a big family dinner, I always like to wear a dress. The key to wearing a dress on a day like tomorrow is making sure it isn’t form fitting. Wear a dress that is loose fitting around the midsection so you don’t feel like you’re going to explode when you’re done with that second plate.
If you’re not a dress person, wear a pair of dark wash jeans with a nice shirt. For a holiday, a button-up blouse does nicely. Add a chunky bold necklace and you’ll be the talk of the table.
Just because you’ll be eating–a lot–doesn’t mean you shouldn’t dress nice. It’s important to wear loose fitting clothes that way you will feel comfortable and beautiful. Wear a dress or a flowy shirt. Now that we got the outfit under control, don’t be afraid to have a slice of pumpkin pie because, well, that is the best part after all.
