Keep the boots on the ranch
November 14, 2013
It seems as though everywhere you turn a girl is wearing cowboy boots Don’t get me wrong, sometimes cowboy boots are fine, but only if you enjoy country music, are from “down south” or are dressing up for a costume party.
When I see cowboy boots, they instantly make me think of country music and the lifestyle that goes with it. If you have never plowed a field or jammed out to Keith Urban, you probably shouldn’t be wearing them.
I know what you’re thinking, “They are just shoes.” Correction: shoes make a statement. Think of it this way, you wouldn’t wear a collar if you weren’t a dog, this is no different.
For those of you that have a reason for wearing cowboy boots, don’t forget you can’t just wear them with any outfit. Keep it simple with a plaid or solid color shirt and some jeans. Also, refrain from buying teal cowboy boots. Stick to brown. Brown is the perfect color because they will match any outfit.
Be careful when choosing what outfit to wear with cowboy boots. You don’t want to mix styles. Cowboy boots work best with plaids or solid colors. Remember, keep it classy with brown boots and not tacky with teal.
