Bellevue West book fair to benefit elementary school library

Bellevue West High School librarian Karissa Schroder is hosting a Scholastic book fair for parents and high school students.

The idea of the fair was sparked by the book fairs in elementary schools.

“I used to work at Leonard Lawrence and always liked the book fairs,” Schroder said.

Content available includes goodies such as kid-like knick-knacks, some elementary books, and a lot of young adult books.

The book fair will be at the Wall of Champions in the commons at Bellevue West on Oct. 17-18 during parent teacher conferences. All of the proceeds will go to the Belleaire Elementary School library.
