Bellevue West Activities Director Jon Mauro sent the following information regarding Monday’s state football final:

The Class A state championship game between the Bellevue West Thunderbirds and the Omaha North Vikings will be held at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln at 7:15 p.m. The gates will open at 6:15 p.m. with the charge of admission being $7 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets may also be purchased online.

Bellevue West is the visiting team. Thunderbird fans will occupy the West side of the stadium and enter through Gate 10. Gate 3 will also be open for handicapped seating.

In terms of parking, campus parking lots are not available during the day on Monday. The parking garage at 14th and Avery will be available for parking during all NSAA State Championship games. All university lots around the stadium will be staffed during games on Monday, allowing only university and business permits to enter. Handicapped parking located on the west side of Memorial Stadium, especially in the parking garage, is closer to the main handicapped entrance at Gate 3.  Additional parking is available just west of the stadium in the INS Parking Lot with the entrance on 8th street.

All in attendance are not permitted to bring in umbrellas, baby powder, artificial noise makers, thunder sticks, cow bells, air horns, whistles, etc. All spectators are also required to wear a shirt. Personal stadium seats are allowed to be brought.
