STAFF COLLABORATION DAY 5

Louisiana lists French as an official language. Cajun culture is Francophone, and the judicial system of Louisiana uses the Napoleonic Code. Hope you’ve enjoyed French Facts with us this week!

ART CLUB will meet Wednesday, Nov 20 in Rm 612 right after school. Please bring your food items for the Thanksgiving basket.

Reminder to all students who plan to try out for a winter sport, you MUST have a sports physical on file in the athletic office BEFORE tryouts. The first official day of the season is November 18.

Cross Country Runners – Please see Coach Daughtrey by the end of the day Friday to RSVP for the banquet on November 19. The money is not due at this time.

Help a child in need this year by donating a brand new unwrapped toy to Toys for Tots through “It’s All OK” a DECA Senior Project and Bellevue West’s ROTC. Put your name and grade on a piece of paper, attach it to the toy and you’ll be entered to win an iTunes gift card on December 9. Boxes are located in the office and outside room 311. Happy Holidays!

This is your chance to help those in need! If you donate new school supplies at lunch or drop them off in room 136, your name will be placed in a drawing for a fantastic gift card! We are looking for the following items: Pencils, pens, crayons, notebooks, glue/glue sticks, packages of paper. All of your donations will go to North Omaha elementary school students who cannot purchase their own supplies. We are accepting donations from Nov. 14th thru Nov. 22.

Are you interested in being a part of the Winterguard this winter? Tryouts will take place in the south gym Nov 19 thru 21 from 6-8:30 p.m. each evening. Please wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. See Mr. Haugen if you have any questions.
