Bellevue’s first Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers location on 950 Cornhusker Rd. opened Tuesday morning.

Cane’s opened with a raffle for free food for a year to 20 lucky people, ages 13 years and older. At 9 a.m., they had ribbon cutting ceremony led by Mayor Rusty Hike, City Administrator Jim Ristow, and the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. At 10 a.m., the doors opened for the public.

“I’m excited that people don’t have to drive all the way out to West Omaha who live around here,” Cane’s employee junior Trevor Flott said. “I’m also excited that all my friends will come and see me work.”

The new restaurant hired almost 84 people and is still looking for more employees. If interested in being a crew member, go to RaisingCanesJobs.com and search Bellevue to apply online.
