The Bellevue West Forensics team placed 2nd in their district competition on March 9. Individual state qualifiers include:

Ariana DiBernardo, Katrina Nesbit, Rachel Maloy, Moriah Hood, and Rae Rangel–4th place in Oral Interpretation of Drama

Renee Pineda, Katin Cashin, Jasmine Rosemond and Madison Larimore–3rd place in Oral Interpretation of Drama

Other finalists include: Loriana Harkey, 6th place and Kayla Starbuck 5th place in Persuasive Speaking; Jasmine Rosemond 6th place and Katie Cashin 5th place in Poetry; Connor Milner/Patrick Townsend 6th place and Tyler Araujo/Callie Pancoe 5th place in Duet Acting; Katrina Nesbit 5th place in Humorous Interp; and Kayla Starbuck 5th place in Dramatic Interp.

The State Speech tournament is in Kearney on March 22.
